Palm Beach Daily News: Preservation to host Campion Platt book signing

The Preservation Foundation will host interior designer Campion Platt at
2 p.m. Thursday at 311 Peruvian Ave. He will discuss and sign copies of his new book Made To Order.

In his book, Platt reveals “his creative process … with engaging commentary and includes original sketches from his design portfolio,” foundation officials said.

He explains the inspiration from which “each space’s theme is derived, discloses his most valuable tips, and explains how his experience has informed the creation of his own custom furniture, fabric, and carpet lines,” foundation officials said.

Platt is the principal of an award-winning interior design firm. Founded in 1990, it has become a leader in boutique hotel design and is “renowned for its highly customized interiors.” Architectural Digest has named him to its AD100 list of top designers.

The event is free to foundation members, students and town government employees; and $20 for nonmembers.

    To make reservations call 832-0731.
